George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. (born May 18th, 1952) is an American country music musician and songwriter, actor and music producer. Strait is often referred to as the "King of Country", and is a well-known musician, singer and songwriter, actor and music producer from the United American. His debut single, "Unwound", was released in 1981. It was the first single to be released that marked the mainstream acceptance of the neotraditional style. In the 1980s seven of his albums reached the top spot on the charts of country music. In the 2000s, Strait was named Artist of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music, selected into the Country Music Hall of Fame and was awarded his first Grammy award for the album Troubadour. Strait was named CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1989, 1990 and 2013.
